THE THREE BIBLE PERIODS/DISPENSATION

This lesson draws a sharp and eye-opening distinction between the three dispensations of God’s revelation — the Patriarchal, Mosaic, and Christian ages — urging believers to understand and serve God according to the authority of the age they live in. It powerfully shows that during the Patriarchal age, fathers acted as prophets, priests, and rulers of their families, offering sacrifices and hearing directly from God, but that such practices have been replaced by the perfect priesthood of Jesus Christ, through whom God now speaks to all mankind.
