EARTH KEEPER EPISODE 2

The earth is crying, and the evidence is everywhere—floods swallowing our cities, deserts consuming farmlands, and plastics choking our waters. These are not distant problems in faraway lands; they are happening right here in Nigeria, touching our homes, our health, and our economy. God entrusted us as keepers of the earth (Genesis 2:15), yet through carelessness, greed, and neglect, we are destroying the very gifts meant to sustain us. And here is the sobering truth: what we fail to preserve today will be the burden our children and grandchildren must carry tomorrow.

But hope is not lost. The power to change lies in our hands—in simple daily choices, in raising our voices, in planting trees, reducing waste, and refusing to turn God’s creation into a dumping ground. Every small action echoes a larger truth: when we care for the earth, we honor God, protect our neighbors, and secure our future. The question is not whether the earth can survive without us—it can. The question is: can we survive without the earth God gave us?
