THE DIVINITY OF JESUS CHRIST: BIBLICAL EVIDENCE | Apologetics Episode 3

The divinity of Jesus Christ is not a distant theological idea—it is a reality woven into every thread of Scripture. From John’s thunderous opening, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God,” to Paul’s testimony that in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily, the Bible leaves us with no safe ground to reduce Christ to a mere prophet or moral teacher. Jesus Himself shatters human categories when He declares, “I and the Father are one,” forgives sins, and receives worship—actions reserved for God alone. The heavenly realm echoes this truth as He is hailed the Alpha and Omega, the radiance of God’s glory, and the Lamb worthy of eternal praise.

And yet, the Old Testament anticipated Him long before Bethlehem’s manger. The psalmists called Him “God” enthroned forever; Daniel saw Him coming with the clouds, receiving eternal dominion; and David, under the Spirit’s inspiration, called Him “Lord.” Even more, Jesus’ resurrection sealed His claims beyond doubt—He is not only Son of Man but God the Son, Judge of all, and the Bread of Life who alone grants eternal satisfaction. To deny His divinity is to ignore the overwhelming testimony of prophets, apostles, angels, and even Jesus’ own voice. The question remains: if Christ is truly God, as Scripture relentlessly testifies, what will you do with Him?
